Founded in april 2005, the PLM Alliance is a cooperation between the leading SAP PLM development partners for combined development and implementation of SAP PLM solutions.

The Dutch company O³Spaces provides the O³Spaces Workplace as an integrated solution to manage and mutually edit documents for StarOffice, OpenOffice.org and Microsoft Office. Against the background of wishing to provide a professional corporate solution in the area of collaboration and document management for OpenOffice.org, .riess applications has incorporated O³Spaces Workplace in its service spectrum and cooperates closely with the innovative software house.

The ODF Alliance was established in WashingtonD.C. in 2006 by IBM and Sun Microsystems alongside other ventures and pursues the goal of establishing the Open Document Format (ODF) as Open Source document standard of the future throughout the world, in particular for public administrations and authorities. .riess applications has been a member in the ODF Alliance since the initial phase and supports the ODF in connection with Open Source Desktop applications and OpenOffice.org migrations.
