As is generally known, the economic crisis hits companies in the mechanical engineering and industrial sector particularly hard. These are precisely the sectors in which .riess engineering customers are to be found.
Despite these difficult framework conditions the past financial year 2008/2009 was very successful. Whilst the record figures of the previous financial year could not be entirely matched, the result nevertheless shows good above average growth.
"Following a small blip in orders received in the first quarter of 2009, we have been recording a distinct increase in orders for some months now. Particularly the sharp rise in project inquiries makes us optimistic for the new financial year that has just started.", explains Dr. Jürgen Rothley, managing director at .riess engineering.
In order to be able to process all customer inquiries as quickly as possible, the personnel resources in the areas of consulting and development were increased last year. The Karlsbad-based PLM specialist is therefore in an excellent position to master future challenges.
